Please email the Event Coordinator with any questions.
Tara has an extensive background in event planning, and has hosted many events in Virginia City and at other locations. The Com-Con is the continuation of what was formerly known as "A Paranormal Interest Retreat" in Virginia City, which had three events with investigations of quite a few locations in town. After taking a break from coordinating events, Tara is ready and excited to jump back in. In addition to Com-Con, look for an annual Washoe-Con event in April of each year.
Tara served as the General Manager for the Ghost Adventures Crew, and was also a Production Assistant on Paranormal Challenge. In her role with GAC, she helped facilitate events all over the country. Though many of those events were quite large, Com-Con is intended to be a smaller gathering of not more than 40 folks. Tara is also the Vendor Room Coordinator at the annual MiParacon event, which is where she met her significant other Ryan who is part of the UPPRS team that hosts that event.
Tara's "real job" is a career with the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care as the Manager of the Enterprise Project Management Office. She's also a Mom, and stays busy with kid and cat herding as well as volunteer work in her "free time".
